Georgian garden brief: This walled garden was designed and planted to complement the Georgian house. As it matures, it will become more intimate as it will not be possible to see from one end to the other.

Work in progress. The entire garden was overgrown and the pond had been hidden for years. The stagnant pond was removed.

All the paving was rescued and re-used in the new design.

The bespoke arbour is planted with a mixture of wisteria and climbing, scented roses.

This feature frames and enhances the length of the garden and the original doorway.

A bird's eye view of the garden from the first floor of the house, which is the main vantage point.

The sections of plants interspersed with the orginal light paving and graveled areas creates an illusion of space.
